good information here.

We seem to start the year off really good recruiting but for some reason they dont' stick.

I don't get it...it is free racquetball lessons and they have a chance to become a VERY good player.

We have trouble attracting the females to the clubs.
We really have to get more females in racquetball and at our club.

Does anyone think it would be useful to try to work through fraternities/sororities on campus to drum up some interest? Maybe even helping organize and run an inter-frat/sorority tournament, or at least the fraternity/sorority division of the intramural tournament, would be worthwhile.

I can't speak for every fraternity, but I am in Sigep at UC and there is a strong enough interest in racquetball there that they have asked me to start a tournament between members. I am sure this will generate interest in the club as well.

Gordon...it can't hurt.

The same way fraternities go after new members is a page we can take from them.

We should go after the players and many will stick.

Another retention that works for the club we have is getting results in the paper the following day.

Whether it is the school paper or local newspaper.

We had our state singles championships this past weekend and after I put the results of my Terre Haute Youth players that took home medals...my collegiate players that took home medals...and locla players that took home medals.
